Action Items

      • Subject Reports: These are due to the assigned folders by Monday, Feb 4 @ 8am. For examples and specific directions, please follow this link.
      • MYP: If a unit you have written has been selected as one of our BQC units (see here for the list), as Angelica and Shelli mentioned at the last faculty meeting, please ensure that these are ready to run through the MYP Unit Planner Rubric by February 21st. The following items will be needed:
        • A finished unit, polished to the best of teacher ability, all the way through reflection (as many steps as possible)
        • A copy of all formative tasks
        • A copy of all work geared towards ATL development in the unit
        • A copy of the summative assessment
        • NO EXAMPLES OF STUDENT WORK NEEDED – BLANK ASSIGNMENT SHEETS JUST FINE
      • Summer Maintenance Requests: I know summer seems like a long way off, but if you start to see things around the MS that need painting, fixing etc., that are not urgent or would be better addressed when no one is around, please add your request to the Google Doc. This Action Item will stay up and active until after Spring Break at which time I will meet with Mark about having our wish-list addressed.

Changes to the Week Ahead, Updates & Reminders

          • Reports: Monday and Tuesday, Shelli and I will be reading through your report comments and then with Ruth's help, we will input these all to MyAW for you.
          • Scholar Search is this Friday and many, but not all, our Grade 8 students are attending. Please be aware of this if you teach after lunch on Friday and consider modifying your content due to the limited number of students you may have. When I have confirmed registration numbers from Alyssa, I will email all.
