Action Items
  • Conference Day Prep: Reports went live on Friday afternoon and so the fun has just begun! Many students may not have looked at their reports, so this is an important first step for students to do. It may also be helpful to have students print them off. During the 2 or 3 periods we are working on Conference Prep this week, please follow the guidelines in the Conference Day Overview document. Ideally, students should start by reflecting on their goals and use the Quarter 2 Student Goals document to collect and collate what teachers have been saying in their reports. From there, advisors will need to meet with each student to ensure that they are finding the patterns in the subject goals and selecting three they would like to deeply focus on for the rest of the semester. These goals will be the foundation of their conference. If this all sounds confusing, we will chat a little more about this process on Tuesday at the start of the grade level meeting.
  • Experience Days: Just a polite reminder to check in with Ruth for supplies and transportation. Friday we are canceling Clubs and meeting in Experience Day groups instead. Please give instructions about lunches (on or off-site), appropriate dress, supplies they may need to bring, etc.

Changes to the Week Ahead, Updates, & Reminders
  • Please take a careful look at the activities that need to be covered from 10:15-10:45am slot each day this week. Clubs are canceled on Friday for Experience Day Prep
