- Let's check-in about how the week went and what changes we need to make for after Spring Break.
Microsoft Teams Tips and Updates
- It appears that we cannot record our meetings in channels. The reason we were able to record our meeting as a MS Faculty on Friday, was because this was as a whole team, and not subsections (6 Grade Advisory, 7B LA, etc.). However, the text chat that occurs apparently will be saved.
- If you did want to record your lesson you can do this by starting Quicktime and selecting all your screen to record. Then simply post it to the channel.
- Please wait until all your students have left a video or chat before you do! Once you are out, they cannot rejoin.
- Having issues? Can't see your kids?
- Please make sure you are in the App and not on the webpage.
- Add Erik Weiss to your channel. We have no idea why, but it seems to work!
Action Items
- Welcome to AWS Virtual Middle School Just a reminder about the directions we have sent out to our students. Please review and refer to these as needed. All our students have this electronically and a paper copy.
- Please email those students missing 3 minutes into class - you might want to make it more like 5+ being the first week. I will attempt to connect with students to help them get logged on if they are not present.
Changes to the Week Ahead, Updates, & Reminders
- Subject Reflections: If you think your advisories can continue with these reflections, please go ahead and remind them about these. Below are the results of their answers.
- Subject Narrative Reports: We are pushing this back a week and they are now due on Monday, April 20. We hope to have these released to parents on what would have been conference day, April 24. As things progress, we will review if this deadline still seems appropriate.

Kudos / Funny Stuff / Anything other than work....
- So as much as I thought I might enjoy time alone at home, I can already feel the boredom setting in. Thank goodness for Netflix, online shopping, and a stack of books I have been meaning to read. If you have any recommendations for things to watch, read etc., please fire away! This week's recommendations are a curiosity of a lunchtime conversation with Ann, Sandra, and Shelli. What do you think?
- Good Omen
- Fleabag
- Sex Ed
The Month Ahead
- Who knows......
