Week Beginning February 21

Thank you all for a great PD day! I sincerely appreciate all the questions you all raised and the points we discussed. I really hope to get more to you all soon, and I know it might feel like this is taking forever!

 Action Items

  • LATER GATOR LATE PASSES
    • If you have not picked up some LATER GATOR PASSES to use if students are leaving your class late, please pick them up from the MS Office. For this week, if students arrive TO your classroom late with a pass, please collect their LATER GATOR passes and email msattendance@aw.org when you can (before the end of the day) to alert us that the student(s) arrived with an excused pass. We are trying to finalize an easier system - more soon.
  • COMPUTER ISSUES:
    • The Tech team needs to physically work on every student's laptop over the next few weeks. Schedule:
      • Grade 6 - Wednesday, Feb 23
      • Grade 7 - Wednesday, March 2
  • 6th GRADE TUESDAY OFFICE HOURS TEACHERS
    • Please have your 6th Grade Office Hours kiddos label their laptops with their first and last names using masking tape. That step will make it much easier for the tech team when they are checking in laptops Wednesday afternoon. Thanks!
  • MS CONFERENCES:  Please see Ruth's email regarding conference calendar prep sent on Feb 17. If you have questions, please reach out ASAP.
  • LUNCHROOM CHANGES: We can now have two grades in the Dining Hall at one time. Thus, moving forward, our rotations will look different. Here is our rotation for this week:
    • 6th & 7th in the Dining Hall
    • 8th Tent
  • TOODLE PD: Bri, Will and I are interested in the March 11-13 conference. If anyone else is is interested, please let Bri and I know this week.
  • CHANGES: Just a reminder about uniforms, tardies, etc. Here are the slides with all the information that was shared last week. Your help in reminding students of these will be essential. Thank you!
