Our own Saharsh and his Spelling Bee stalker, Susan! Congrats to Saharsh for placing 4th in the NATION! It was truly magical to watch how excited and supportive the whole 8th grade was behind him. Way to go!

 

Action Items

• FACULTY END OF YEAR CHECKLIST: Please review this document and submit a paper copy of it to the MS Office before you depart school for the summer.
• FYI - If you want to meet rather than complete the end-of-year survey, please email me before the end of Monday. The days are running out to find a time to connect!

• BRAIN BREAKS FOLDER: As requested, we have created a folder for your brain break ideas and other 70-minute suggestions. Once school had ended, I will certainly add what I have, but if you also have ideas please add away! Thank you.

• ADVISOR NARRATIVES: These are due on Friday, June 10. PLEASE follow the formatting guidelines found here. 

• Responsibility and Summative grades are due in myAW by 9:00 am on Monday, June 13. 

• Responsibility and Criterion grades in a Google Sheet will be sent by Ruth and should be checked by 3:00 pm and edited following Ruth's instructions on Monday, June 13.

Monday, June 6 - Math Finals

• Will out - Zach subbing. Mara is in all week to cover for Linh. 
• No All School Chapel. 
• Instead, students who are finished their math test should go to: 
• Talent show rehearsal in the Kemper (Strate & Samuelson)
• OR  Advisory 
• Richards to join Price (Sophie's room may still be used for a math final)
• Stangenberg to join Bloodworth/Marquez (Andrea will be the math final)
• Samuelson to join Golding (Bri will be running a rehearsal for the variety show)

SPECIAL SCHEDULE:

Tuesday, June 7 - Gators Got Talent!

• Mara is in all week to cover for Linh. 
• New Faculty Meeting in the MS Faculty Workroom @ 8:10 - 8:55 am - possibly canceled?
• Advisory Period
• Any student who has not turned in their Math textbook needs to do so during Advisory today. Please have them return them to the BOOKSTORE. Emily and Gretchen will meet them there.
• Students who need to take/finish their math finals will be informed of the time and location by the math team. The rest of the students will join with PHE for the block. Nate and the math team to oversee this.
• Talent Show 2:15-3:00 pm for all -Crew, MCs and performers should head down to the Kemper at 1:55 PM
• Seating chart for Kemper Theater follows special schedule.
