Week Beginning May 26, 2025

Another fabulous Milk Boats in the books! Great job, one and all!

ACTION ITEMS

  • Course Reflections: You should complete these by the end of this coming week. If there is a reason you have not done so and you need an extension, please let me know as we need to run the data before the end of the year.
  • Voting Grade 8 Awards: Please see the email from me last Thursday about this. If you would like to vote, please return the survey by the end of the day on Tuesday. Thank you.
  • End of Year Check List: This is your ticket out of here for the summer! Please print this off and check off the items as you go. Handing this in on the last in-service day will mean the summer is here, and you don't have to think about AWS until late August!
  • CP Presentations: This is a reminder that these will occur on Tuesday during OH (so there will be no math support that day). Please see below for who should be where, and expect a recap from Kelly or Dimpy the morning of.

FYI
  • Yearbooks: Unfortunately, these will not be ready in time for the end of the school year. Instead, we will print signable pages for kids to write on. Any student not returning will have theirs mailed to them at the end of the summer.
  • Lifeguard Certification: We hope to get a couple of MS folks certified as lifeguards so that we can have our own in-house support system for Milk Boats. Many classes are running at this time of year, so if you are interested, please let me know, and I will happily use the MS PD budget to get you certified. There is also an added bonus: if you get certified, you can bring your own kids to the AWS pool to use it, and as long as you supervise them on deck, they get free pool time.
  • Summer Work and MS Supply List 2025: A big thank you to those who contributed to these two documents. This Summer Work packet and the LL reading book will be distributed in LL towards the end of the year.

TODDLE TIPS & TRICKS
We hope to have several updates during our MS Faculty meeting this week. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please add them to the Toddle Questions Form.
