The Grade 6 experienced "Time to Talk" this week with residents from Tahoma Vista. The feedback has been amazingly positive for all involved, with numerous residents stating wonderful things about our students!

- MYP COORDINATOR CANDIDATE: Please note that there is no MS Faculty meeting this week but there is an optional Thursday meeting from 3:30 - 4:00 pm to meet and hear from Kelly Ward, who is a finalist for the MYP Coordinator position. It would be great to have as many of you present as possible to meet her and to ask any questions you may have. This will be in Carie's room.
- CONFERENCE PREP: Please review the Q3 MS Conference Booking Directions for Advisors and ensure you have set up your calendar by Wednesday (step 1). Following this, you will be asked to email your families on Friday (step 2) so they have the link to register for a conference time.

- JOURNEY LESSONS: Our GLTLs have put together a wonderful series of lessons that will occur during Advisory at each grade level to prep them for these experiences. Please look at the Q3 calendar for more details and you will also hear from Will, Kyle, and Sophie soon if you haven't already.
- CLASS OBSERVATIONS: Riley Casner is a local student teacher attending the University of Washington's MIT program. She will be observing classes in the MS next Tuesday and Wednesday. Once these classes are confirmed, I will email the teachers involved. She is mostly interested in observing humanities classes.

Blue House (12th, 8th, and 4th Grades) will be having its next House Social on Monday beginning at 2:30 PM. During the social, we will be making house-colored origami paper cranes that will later be used in an all-school art installation.
