ACTION ITEMS
- Habit Achievement Scores: GLTM will be canceled this week to allow folks to work on deciding on the student habit scores. New teachers and anyone who would like to review this process of assigning scores for habits, please meet during the Grade 6 GLTM slot on Tuesday, and we can review this procedure then. You will enter a score for all 8 habits for each subject and student you teach. For example, Henry will enter scores for IS for his Grade 8 classes and then, on a separate tab, add the scores for the same students, but now with respect to LL. The scores are due by noon on Friday.
- Advisory Emails: Here is a link to the Advisory Family Communication Plan for the year. This week, ideally before the GLTM (even though it's been canceled), please contact each of your families with an email from the October Advisor Email Template. There are two different email templates on this doc: one for if you only left a VM the last time you tried to connect or one that refers to you chatting at the start of the year. Please send either to all the parents listed. Once you have sent this, please make a note in the GLTM doc using the drop-down menu.
- Conference Prep Folder: Here are all the documents that we walked through at the MS Faculty Meeting. Please review these and let Shelli or me know if you have any questions.

- Parent Access to Toddle: The directions went out in the Flash today. We have asked that if anyone has questions or concerns about Toddle, to fill in the Google Form, also linked, so we can ensure these questions are collated and responded to. If any parent reaches out about the platform with something about Toddle rather than a specific subject question, please direct them to the form. Thank you!
TODDLE TIPS & TRICKS
As we continue deeper into our Friday missing assignment emails, we want to make sure that you are aware that we pull our data from the teacher view of the gradebook. This means that we include any zeros you've placed in your gradebook, whether or not you have shared them with families. We've had a couple instances of students insisting that they have no missing work on their end and have discovered that this is the reason why.
To avoid this confusion, please make sure that any zeros in your gradebook have been shared with teachers/students prior to Friday morning. If you don't wish to share feedback for the full section yet, you can share feedback with an individual student by going into the assignment, clicking the three dots next to a student's name, and selecting "share with student and family" from the menu that appears.
