ACTION ITEMS

•  Advisor Emails: Please send the check-in email to each of your advisees' families before you leave for the weekend on Friday. A template for the email is linked here. If you get any response that requires a follow-up, please add the notes to the GLTM doc. We will also review sending this during the MS Faculty Meeting on Wednesday, if you have any questions. 

• USB Annies Verse Gators: Happening on Friday, October 3, so please lock your classrooms when you leave to ensure the USB doesn't hide in your spaces!

FYI

• Arun Satgunasingam: Please welcome Arun to our team as a long-term sub! Heidi will be taking an extended leave of absence starting next week, and working closely with Kelly, Arun will take on all of Heidi's art classes. We hope to have an AWS email and get him access to Toddle on Monday. Katie has kindly stepped up to take on the Grace advisory, and I will be emailing those families next week once Heidi transitions out to let them all know. We will also schedule a time to inform each class of the upcoming temporary changes. Thank you for your support of Heidi, Arun, Katie, and Kelly as we implement these changes. 

• Name Change Procedure: Students wishing to change their preferred name should email their divisional attendance email (msattendance@aw.org) and cc their parents to request the name change. Divisional registrars/admins can then make the change in myAW, unless the parent actively objects to the change.

• There will be family numbers on the floor of the gyms. Each student should sit next to their family number.

• We will have family lists printed so if kids arrive to the gyms without knowing their family number, we will be able to give it to them
• Teachers and Advisors, please roam the gyms and join in if you want – the more, the merrier!
