• ATL Team: As Kelly mentioned at the faculty meeting, we are seeking two faculty members interested in joining meetings with our consultant, Diane Smith, as we continue our ATL work this year. Interested? Let Kelly know by Tuesday, October 14th. A reminder of the dates:

• Conference Materials (Shared Drive -> Faculty -> Conferences)
• Habits Review slides - to be used in Advisory by the advisor to go through the habits and explanations of each one. 
• Q1 Student Habits Reflection Sheet - this is the electronic version with tabs of strategies. You can make a copy and share it with students if you would like. But this can also just be a resource for you.
• Q1 Student Habits Reflection PDF - will be printed off for your advisees and left in the MS Office to be collected. Students should graph THEIR reflections on this to compare to their teacher's reflections. Advisors should keep this document for later reference. 
• Conference Slides - to be shared with your advisees as a template for the conference. This template will be shared in Toddle for you to access. 
• Q1 MS Conference Prep Directions: Students 24-25 - to be shared with the students to guide them through the process. This template will be shared in Toddle for you to access. 
• Q1 Conference Prep & Reflection Form Template - for advisors to take notes that might support the conference and to add notes about key things discussed. Please make a copy of this document and store it in your own Drive, not the Shared Drive. 

• Friday Advisory Time: While Friday will remain Tech Free, we are changing the start of this period to engage the students in cleaning and tidying our communal spaces. This will be announced in the MS Gathering on Tuesday, but each grade should check their assigned areas to ensure no loose papers, trash, clothing on the floor, general mess, etc. 
• ALL: area around their assigned coat hooks
• 6: Cubbies and Lost & Found
• 7: Bessler Gym (Parker), MS Bathrooms (by office and single stalls near textiles lab), Bamford Commons, and Garden area. 
• 8: MS Lounge

FYI

• Missing Work: As we approach the end of the quarter, Kelly has found that for incomplete Summer Work or missing work on a completed unit, we can award a 0.5 instead of a zero. So, as you finish a unit and if a student still has outstanding missing work, please update the grade from a zero to 0.5. The same goes for any Summer Work not submitted at the end of Q1. This will allow us to still track that it was not completed, but it will not appear on the Missing Assignment report.
